how do i figure up ev% and las vegas %

Please someone help im ready to kill myself trying to figure the formula for this. I know its something simple i just forgot what it was.

What do you mean by "Las Vegas %"?

what the win percentage is on a money line say -140 vs +130. When vegas puts the line out it expects the fav to win a certain percentage of the the and that is what has them put the line out at -140.

I'm sure there's an easier way, but this is how I do it.

Side A & Side B; A is the fav, B is the dog (with the lines you just stated).

Compute these "pseudo-probabilities" (no idea what they're actually called):
-fav: 140/(140 + 100) = .583333
-dog: 100/(130 + 100) = .434783

Sum these: 1.018116

Now get the actual probabilities by setting the sum to 1 and making sure the ratios are still correct:
-fav: .583333/1.018116 = .573
-dog: .434783/1.018116 = .427

Basically, just memorize the EV equation, plug in the lines, solve for the win probability.
