    Matchbook Profits
Hi all. I am thinking about going on to Matchbook for my online wagering. Why is it so much better than others? Is it really easy to do arbitrage betting or something since it is a betting exchange? I have heard that it is much easier to find games on matchbook where one will win no matter what the outcome is. Is this true? Thanks for the help.

You will find lower juice on MB. But there are guys on there sharper than your average linesmaker at a sportsbook. Betting into their lines is probably a loser long term.

Betting exchanges were on their way to becoming the wave of the future with Matchbook leading the way for US players (and BetFair and other European exchanges salivating waiting to get into the US markets) up until the UIGEA rained on the parade. If the UIGEA hadn't became law I think we'd have a much different landscape for US players with betting exchanges having gained a big portion of the pie.

Best way to gamble, if you still consider it that. Think of it this way, when you want to play a game, why offer the bookie -110 juice, when you can take it for -103, or 100, or maybe +105, or even +110 on NCAAB. My bankroll has only been growing since I deposited with Matchbook.

Arb with slow moving books and local bookies. Set my own lines for NCAAB since no one is setting lines for that market. Taking bets that are very one sided (I.E I see pinny has a game at -105/-105, I see the same line at matchbook for +105/-106 I normally take a small position on the +105 side. It is good expected value in the long run, and it is also a gamble that I can enjoy.

Also use matchbook as a bank for my other books, since they do book to book transfer with a lot of books.
