    Teaser Question: 3-Team, 10-points
    Teaser Question: 3-Team, 10-points

Let's say you're betting a 3-team, 10-point teaser, that pays -110 or -120, with the rule that "Ties Push".

Let's say Game 1 of the teaser is a tie/push. What is the payout on that teaser if 1 of the legs is a tie/push?

If it was a regular 3-team, 6 point teaser, the answer would be easy, since virtually all books offer a 2-team, 6-point teaser at a particular price (normally -110 these days).

But most books don't offer a 2-team, 10-point teaser, so what is the normal payout on a 3-team, 10-point teaser, where one leg is a tie/push ? Anyone know ?

    -------------------------------------------------

Not sure if this is the right forum for this question, but anyway, here it is.

What are the equivalent decimal odds for 3 teamer at -110? Looks like about 1.24

Drop 1 leg off and you get about -186, so you should get back about 53 cents for each dollar risked.

I have never seen 10-point teaser where "ties push".

However, I'll assume this would be treated the same as a 2-team 6-point teaser with a tie, reducing to a point with no listed payout. In that case, it will push if there are no losses (or push even if the card went 0-1-1 via Vegas rules).

What book has this? I'd need to read the written rules to make a better guess.

At 5 Dimes, a 3-team "Ties Reduce" 10-point teaser is -115. If there is a push and the other two games win, the payout is reduced to -220.

Very interesting. Are the lines on their 10-point teasers shaded?

Well, their regular lines are shaded in the sense that you almost never see primary 1.5-2.5 or 7.5-8.5 ranges in NFL. That said, the 10-point teasers do seem to be exactly 10 points from their primary lines.
