Also a flat bettor. Flat betting has a lower chance of making you go broke vs more aggressive things like kelly criteria. Try to stick to 1% of br.

Flat betting is definitely safer but would you fellas agree that sometime over the course of a season a particularly juicy pick comes up. Don't those moments deserve some sort of bump up?

1% works good until you go on a losing streak. It's all about self control and discipline, don't chase losses. I know a guy who only did parlays and once in awhile he would hit but then a week later go broke and beg his girlfriend for $10. Sad thing is he was actually a really good capper but no one can hit 10 team parlays on a regular basis and that's pretty much all he did with the occassional 3-teamer or round robin. When I was younger I used to bet parlays and teasers but I learned my lesson after going months without a win multiple times.
