How to avoid downswings when you first start your bankroll?
How many units per bet do you prefer to play with at 50% win rate at +110. Is there a calculator for this sort of thing?

How would one calculate how to keep the bankroll in the positive at this important stage. For example if I going to win 50 percent of the time I will need a larger bank roll than 60% at +100. How much "extra safety" do you keep for your bankrolls?

What math equation would help find this sort of variation?how large of bankroll at X odds and X win% in relation to variation.

Hi, I encourage you to look at the kelly calculator, understand how it works, and be cautious in how you apply it. Consider fractional kelly in terms of safety margin from a miscalculation in edge. Good luck.
