Sports Insights Bookmaker closing odds errors!
Those logging Bookmaker opening/closing odds daily for their own records need to beware there have been numerous errors in the closing odds on both the spread & over/under recently. A great example would be SI listing Bookmaker with a closing line of Cincinnati -7.5(-101) today which would make CT cover the spread. Cincy won by 5 but the actual closing line was probably -4 which meant Cincy was the correct spread cover. Bettor beware!

SI Bookmaker closing odds continue to have errors!

Logging yesterday's CBKB results & noticed SI had Bookmaker's closing odd on the WV game as -4.5(-120) which i feel confident stating is WRONG. I am making that closing odd WV -5.5 instead

did you email or call them? they are pretty good at fixing quickly? i had an issue in adding a book to my odds feed (kept getting error code) and they fixed by the next morning.

Found another Bookmaker closing odd error tonight!

GA Southern listed at SI closing -5.5(+00) which means a loss BUT i am recording a corrected odd of -1.5(-05) in my notes because they actually covered by a half point! P.S. I've already live chatted with a couple SI reps who claim they are aware of the problem but big mistakes continue to occur!

Yet another Bookmaker closing odd error!

Iona closing line at Bookmaker listed erroneously as -3.5(+02) but should read -7(-15)

A different kind of SI error this time!

On Saturday's CBKB rotation game 629-630 was listed in wrong order! N KY was the road team but SI made them the HOME team causing confusion for those not paying close attention

This time a Bookmaker over/under closing odd error!

SI lists Monday's closing total at Bookmaker of 143.5(under -09) on the NC game but i will list it at 147. Important because game ended with 145 points scored

Can't trust a lot of these websites with closing lines... gotta double and triple check.

                      Another Bookmaker closing odd error!

Yesterday's CBKB rotation 577/578 NJIT vs Stetson. SI laughably lists Stetson -12(-15) as closing odd with no line updates since 959 am but SBR lists Stetson closing at +11(-15) with final line move at 746 pm

Now SI's Bookmaker line feed stops updating on some games!

Way too many mistakes continue happening at SI! Closing over/under of yesterday's Boston game listed as 217.5 but when looking at SBR's Bookmaker closing over/under it is listed at 220. SBR final line update was 746 pm while SI final line update was 519 pm which meant their over/under feed on that game just stopped & was never corrected!

                          Another Bookmaker closing odd error!

SI lists Saturday's WA Wizards Bookmaker closing odd at -1(-06) but SBR lists -2.5(-05). I'm going to use SBR's closing Bookmaker line for my log

To update, CRIS/Bookmaker has been sending stale/incorrect lines in their feed over the last few weeks and we've continuously contacted them to correct it. We apologize for any inconvenience for those using their closing odds, and can assure you that Pinnacle odds are what we base all of our Bet Labs matches on.

Can't find a good thread on this. I like SBR, but
                                1) Is it worth the investment to pay for software / subscription over SBR Odds
                                2) If I am going to pay, is SI the best?

1.If you are simply a casual low roller probably not
                                  2. If you are a high roller & need to bet before the lines all move SI isn't the best. SI decent for research & developing your own methods but i wouldn't recommend blindly betting their system picks

If your company would guarantee the data 365 days a year.... and compensate your clients when percentages were false... I'd probably be a year long subscriber. But, I'm not wasting $500 - $1,000 etc on unguaranteed information.
