1. What is the range on the odds of a favorite/underdog if you assume that the game will be won by only 1 point? or a game that will go Overtime?
2. And so in addition to this, if a team vs team matchup has them going into overtime several times throughout a season, should I take a dog that is far away from that range regardless of the usual final result?
3. And do you guys distinguish between betting on an underdog that has a slight edge vs. a dog that will at least keep it within that 1 point score? And if so, what is the ML you need to pick the dog for one reason or another?
Hope those questions makes sense.
I am just trying to make an effort of moving away from only picking low volume favorites to higher volume picks with more "value" orientation if that helps put some perspective.
