Yeah, good winner. Was a bit worried after the first 2 or 3 overs where vic was getting smashed but it was all Vic from then on.

But a bigger worry for somerset them will be the sudden departure of Marcus Trescothick from India, after a recurrence of his stress-related illness. The runners-up in England's Twenty20 Cup now carry forward their county and country's hopes in the competition, and without Trescothick, who amassed 1817 first-class runs at 75.00 in the county season, the going will expectedly get tougher.

Yeah, what a crazy batting comeback from T&T, they play reckless but when it comes off they are very hard to beat. Managed to break even due to NSW having the highest opening partnership. I think Victoria will win again tonight.

An under-22 cricketer from Jammu and Kashmir staying at the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) complex in the Chinnaswamy Stadium has been arrested by the Bangalore police in connection with a suspected presence of explosives at the venue. Two matches of the Champions League are scheduled to be held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday but police have said they will be played only after a thorough check of the ground.
Police have asked Cape Cobras and Victoria, whose match was supposed to begin at 4.00 pm (10.30 GMT), to remain in their hotel and the start time was pushed back by an hour. The players have been briefed by the tournament organisers about the security situation. Spectators were being allowed into the venue after thorough checks.

Winner!
Who are people liking tonight? I think the Cobras as underdogs will do it, but will look at other prop bets!

Yeah, I am a little confused as to why Delhi are the bookie's favourites. I am backing the cobras, one unit.

Cobras off to a promising start, taking 2 wickets inside the first 10 balls. Hopefully they can keep it up, both teams effectively playing for nothing.

Terrible batting display from the cobras, have to wonder if they lost on purpose to avoid playing NSW. Will take something special for them to win from here.

Crazy game that ebbed and flowed each way, all come down to Brett Lee's unreal performance.

I know the match is over already but the next match should go indias way. Early reports have it as a track with a bit of grip and there should be turn available for the spinners. The indian unit has not looked bad and should have an edge with their spinner harbhajan singh.
