                                                            A team can score and go for 2 to go up 8 and on the other teams possession. The other team could throw a pick 6 which means that a team, theoretically can win by 14 in college overtime. I needed that to happen for a team to cover several years ago (I can't even remember who was playing). They got the 8 points and the defensive back made an int that was a sure pick 6 and he falls down to the ground instead of running it out for a score. Hot dam I was pissed.

                                                                        Yes, that is what happened to me, but I don't think that can happen anymore. If the int is made the game is over. I think they changed that rule about 12 or 14 years ago.

                                                                                        The referee cannot blow the play dead after the pick....the defender could fumble and the offense could run the ball in for a score...

                                                                                                            I don't think so, I may be wrong but I think I am right. If the ball is turned over the game is over, the kid cannot score even if he takes it all the way. The reason I believe this is I lost a game like this the first year of ot and I was explaining it to a ref and he said it can't happen anymore.
