TCU manhandled stanford while BYU struggled to defeat winless washington. Stanford is a better football team than BYU. Stanford also defeated washington by a touchdown while BYU defeated washington by a point. BYU backers just do not at last weeks game and instead take a look at TCU's home games. Last week Colorado St, a bad team, was really fired up to play TCU. This happens a lot in the weaker conferences where a bad team really comes out to play against a good team because they are motivated. Last week Colorado St was highly motivated to play TCU. TCU was also not going to show their A game in the film studies for BYU. TCU just did eneough to win. Since TCU was not motivated to play a bad team like Colorado St last week, I expect to be really fired up to play the 8th ranked cougars.
BYU has not played anyone worth mentioning. The 2 pac ten schools, Wash and UCLA are medicore. TCU played a much better pac ten team, Stanford, and they manhandled them 31-14. In that game, Stanford was held to under 200 yards of total offense. One of the touchdowns was the result of a blocked punt that was returned for a touchdown.
BYU has had the softest schedule in the country for a team ranked in the top 10. If TCU had the same schedule, they too would be unbeaten. BYU has not played a physical game yet but will tonite. BYU will not have an answer for the TCU defense.
