I appreciate your feedback...understand that I put a lot of time into getting ready for opening lines, and I have continually suggested to people to get a bookmaker account for this same reason...also understand that I post my plays minutes within when I make them...
looking back at my posted plays from last year, out of all of the games I posted, had you bet them Sunday evening (vs. Sunday afternoon when I post them) AND payed -110 for every bet, one still would have come out ahead almost 30 units...do you think you would be complaining at that point?
I challenge you to find a handicapper (tout or no tout) that has a more consistent track record of posting winning plays...you will have a tough time doing so...call it cocky, but it's the truth...

I want to start out by expressing my appreciation for posting your plays. Any numbskull can come on here and state they have better records over a long run, but it is quite different when they actually put up their picks as you do. I applaud your dedication to the sport and your perserverance over the mindless souls who try to discourage you.
As a noobie to your following, I have a couple of questions I was hoping you would answer so I can take full advantage of your progostications. First, what time do you post your plays? Second, what site gives the earliest lines so I may take fullest advantage of this promptness? Lastly, what kind of girl should I spend my winnings on,,,redhead, blonde, or brunette?

Give you full credit sir for La Tech! I also LOVE Temple +7 this week! Teams returning 20+ starters (plus QB) have been great to me over the years! Going to see another one (Ball State) beat my IU Hoosiers here in a couple of weeks. I have to admit I'm not sure why you want to go against teams as explosive as Missouri or Texas Tech that can hang 50 on almost anyone? If I had to win a fistfight...I wouldn't stop at a gym? Was just wondering when you spoke in a reply earlier about preparing for the next weeks games if you mean more looking at numbers/match ups or if you mean watching games/highlights? I seem to have a better ability to get a grasp on a team (as I would think most folks do) when actually watching the. I was just wondering if you record a lot of games and watch them later or if the crux of your preparation is on paper.

regarding women, I'm a fan of all three types as long as you don't spend more than $40 on them on a date...I'm a big believer of Leykis 101...I have a system to dating much like I do to handicapping...hasn't let me down thus far!...GL this week pal...

I listened to the entire Ole Miss game last week and they do seem improved...I just have a tough time betting against Wake Forest and Jim Grobe, especially since they started covering as favorites towards the end of last year...

I used to be strictly a fundamental handicapper, but in the last three or four years have gotten a lot better at situational handicapping...the thing I'm now trying to improve on is the technical handicapping aspect, with past trends, history, etc...I read every box score from the past week's game on Sunday mornings before the lines come out, so in addition to watching film I do pay close attention to statistics...I think one thing Phil Steele does a good job of is looking at yardage gained by teams...so to answer your question, it's a variety of factors that lead me to making my picks...Comment -

dude, I've been there...I remember one time when I was 13 putting 97 dollars on the Broncos ML vs. the raiders on MNF (was a lot of money to me back then)...I stupidly bet a fav on the moneyline and they lost...I was sick for three weeks...I hope that you have a better season this year...

Dazzez ( and any others): Turn the page and get over this 'juice' issue. All you need to do is track wins and losses, and when the season ends total up pags winning %.
If it's more than 52.5%, that makes you a winner.
But I'll quickly add that you can do a lot better than -110.
My plays are all at -105 or better. Do you want to challenge that? Or would you prefer to check out Matchbook, 5Dimes, and betjamaica. If you are at a -110 book, you need to re-evaluate your modus operandi.
pags- with Fresno's win I found up 12-8. Not a bad start.
Thanks for the Cal and La Tech games. Never ever would have done them by myself. A couple of your picks in this thread have me scratching my head, but by kick-off I suspect the itch will go away. GL, as always.

Like the card pags, but having hard time on Miami...Don't know if the Freshman Qb will be able to keep up once Florida starts putting up points...Believe Meyer will have his defense in attack mode against an inexperienced QB. I like his mobility, but his decision making will be crucial imo(turnovers will be a killer)...If they can establish the run with some play action mixed in I like there chances if not could be long day. Just the way I see the game being played out. As always best of luck... Don't let the haters get to ya. You're to good for that, plus you have a lot of support from better people.Comment -

Hey, I have been betting for around 3 years and am trying to learn more. My first year was a mess, and last year I ended only around $70.00 up, pretty sad. This year I want to change all of that and do my homework. I am already up $220 after the first week but want to keep the streak going. I like it here at SBR but what are some other websites, forums, or other places I can go to check out write ups or free picks from experts that aren't scams. I like checking out all the information here and I appreciate pags and all the others for posting their picks every week with write ups. But just to learn more week in and week out, is there any other places to check out. All opinions are appreciated. Also what is some other advice on betting. Sorry to post this on your thread pags but it gets alot of hits and I figured you could throw in your two cents on some recommendations and advice. I'm interested in the Nevada call. I have thought some about that one. I'm concerned about Nevada's secondary. They are unproven, at best. They could turn out to be adequate; they could turn out to be terrible. The defensive line has shown some spunk, though, I know. But does Nevada have the guns to put some stops on that Texas Tech passing attack? I know, you'll get to it in your writeup. I just thought I'd throw out the problem that has me wringing my hands on this one.
I'll be pulling for Nevada, regardless of whether or not I bet it.
