Hey Pags. Nice call on La Tech. That was my big one today.

There may be some value in La Tech this year.

By the way, I still think Idaho is worth keeping an eye on (ATS), especially in conference play at home I'm thinking. I'll be watching for that.

Hawaii might be a good fade. I need to look into that a bit more too. I think they are hurting, and overrated purely because of last year's thing.

As you probably recall, I like to watch the WAC.

Pags, F ALL OF THE HATERS...you know that all of your true fans know it's more than about one barely negative week and about the full season. Your track record over the last few years speaks for itself, and I know I will be following your plays next week and the rest of the season because even if you you end up in the negative, I know you are putting out +EV bets as you have in the past - and that;s all one can ask for.

Honestly though, I love reading the haters, as not only in this thread but many others as well, once someone that has had any success even SLIGHTLY fails, they are all over it. Sad the jealousy, but that's people in general, they love to see people fail because it makes them feel better about themselves.

Keep posting pags, and although I always think one should listen to the other sides' opinion, just keep doing what you have always been doing. I know I appreciate the great info and sharp analysis.

Well Pags get slow start this week is not the 1st time. If anyone here remember then last year was start out the same. Pags was slow 1st couples of weeks even have 2-5 week last year. Then once people start get mad and jump off the bandwagon that's when Pags start hitting his bet very good.

I know what you can do Pags, alsway on your side.

Pags, I was there in person. Television can't show the true domination of the Tide. I was sitting in the Clemson section and only on the kick return was there any chance of hope. Fans were piling out at the 10 minute mark of the 4th Quarter, as I watched the last few seconds tick off the clock there were more Bama fans in the section than Clemson. While walking out of the stadium there was a lot of Clemson congratulations and head scratching. A truly dominating performance, and you called it just right.

Pavy it is random hate, no specifics, at times made up like fairies. Pags and Illusion blasted me for telling others to back off of Pags earlier this week. When I asked what was negative about the post I was told to go away.

Ok, so I'm new to the forum so work with me. Why are negative comments towards pags banned? What's the point of a forum? Let's face it those picks were awful. They deserve some negative comments.

All I can say is alot of stupid people have viewed this thread. In the old days betting dogs was the way to go. But now with the wealth of information available lines are much sharper. Betting only dogs will not win long term. But this guy apparently hasnt learned that yet.

Jinks, I've been gambling a long time and everyone has slumps. Does that automatically make the person in slump a bad person or a bad capper? Think about it this way. What do negative comments accomplish? Does it help you or any other posters make money?

Also, does it matter if a pick loses by a half of a point or 40? A loss is a loss right? Good cappers learn from that experience and use it to win money in the future.

The other thing that gets me about negative posters is that they almost never post their own picks. They love criticizing other guys who put their reputation on the line week-in and week-out, but they have the stomach disease called "no guts" when it comes to exposing their own ass.

With respect to Pags specifically, I've known him for a long time, and he is the hardest working capper I've ever seen. I consider myself a hard-working, consciencious capper, but this guy puts me to shame!!! Not only is he the hardest worker on this board, he's damn good at what he does!!!

In week one, Pags doesn't have the benefit of watching tape on the teams prior to betting them. As teams get some games under their belt, Pags is one of the best in finding value in the lines.

Why? Because if there were a Guiness Book of World record for watching college football games, I promise you he would be the record-holder. This guy is a machine. He is the Nick Saban of capping. Nobody out-works Pags or Saban. So what does that mean to you and others on this board?

Personally, I charge customers $110 for an hour of my time. When Pags posts a pick on this forum, you can bet he has put several hours of hard work into that selection. Everyone on this board reaps the benefit of his hard work free of charge. Where can you get a better deal than this?

Sure you can argue the fruits of his labor are worthless - or worse - if he posts losers. But people who have tracked him over time know that he is a consistent winner!!! If you didn't do anything but follow him throughout the year, I'm confident you'll win money.

Jinks, we all lucky to have free access to Pags's insight and hard-work. Nobody is forced to wager money on any of his games. But at the very least, appreciate his hard work. Excoriating him and other posters who post their picks serves no constructive purpose in my humble opinion. Think about that the next time you get the urge.

Hey Jimmy, thanks for the reply. As I said I'm new to all of this. I do appreciate hard work and love to read the insights of more experienced players, I was just thinking that by definiton a forum is for comments both positive and negative. After all if pags is posting on a forum then it's for all to see and all to comment on. Don't take my post as "negative", but the reality is the picks weren't very good simple as that. I'm not saying I could do better, but I'm not posting as a capper. Anyway I love to read all the posts and look forward to continuing to learn.
