I have an account with Heritage Bookmaker and had a problem, and it was resolved in a fast and satisfactory manner. I encourage everyone to give Heritage a try, as I was very impressed by the customer service I was provided by Mike.

#2If this is true, then this is terrible news. When they started cold calling, I kind of knew something wasnt right over there. Im still playing there, but am not feeling too good about itComment -

#3Just an FYI...if you have been winning there, particularly large amounts, that policy may have been given to only you. I don't play there, but there are notorious for limiting winning players. If you are looking for a solid book that accept large action I recommend bookmaker or DSI. They will never limit you there and are also the book I'd trust my money with most. One downside to them is that they have dimelines so juice is higher there than most books. Thought I'd provide my input...BOLComment -

#4It sounds like a risk management decision. I think they have most of their lines on auto-pilot, following Pinnacle. They probably have their best guys watching things closer on the weekend, hence they are more willing to take a bet then.Comment -

#5I have used Bookmaker in past years, but the fact they only allow one payout with a cashiers check of $3,000.00 a week does not work for me. Heritage provides you many opportunities to receive your money, and they get it to you fast, which is great for us.Last edited by Urbanwildlife; 10-17-11, 02:48 PM.Comment -

#7Urbanwildlife,
I play at Heritage and like them. It is my understanding that the limit is in place only very late at night and early am. Never heard anything about Sun-Wed. They'll take anything if you call and I can understand the book not wanting to be exposed in the wee hours.
In regards to large checks going back and forth. The Books and more importantly YOU, want to be very careful about drawing to much attention to yourself. Large bank drafts and checks going back and forth could flag your bank account. Remember, this isn't exactly legal. Books are somewhat safe, not you. I'd keep my head low. I still feel a little nervous when I go to the bank and ask for a draft. They know me there and think I own property in the Caribbean. It's one thing to talk it up on the forums. Best to keep a low profile with your bank. Worked in Finanace most my life. Trust me, Compliance Depts are a huge bitch. If you must move money back and forth, consider other options.Comment -

#10Well, they put the brakes on you if you win over $5k. If I have a problem, I speak to John. I don't really worry about limits, since a phone call would solve most problems. If you wanted to go large on a game and you call, are you saying they would refuse the action (Sun-Wed)? Like I said, my biggest concern is getting flagged at the bank. Thats a place you don't want to go.Comment -

#12Wow, somehow it didn't register when you said you lived in South America. Disregard my misplaced fear of drawing attention to oneself with US banks. Why not Pinny? I still miss those guys and was bummed when they no longer took action in US. Really liked those guys and they had reduced juice.Comment -

#17I could bet normally on next week's NFL. OP is deluded. And no, they won't "take anything" if you call. I bet something a week or 2 ago, the line was still there 10 minutes later, and they told me over the phone I couldn't bet more.Comment -

#18Heritage representative who posts on here contacted me, and was extremely helpful in the problem I posted about. He was the very best representative I have probably encountered in any type of setting, as he explained things in a very good manner, and he also opened up the betting.
I encourage everyone to try Heritage Books.Last edited by Urbanwildlife; 10-17-11, 02:51 PM.Comment
