That was also the worst way I have ever seen to cap a game. By your logic Utah State should win 42-16 since they average 42 and BYU averages 16. I mean, it's common sense to you right???? If Utah State has such better stats, why not go all-in on Utah State ML since these factors you brought up constitute a lock?

Last night everyone liked USF. I told people USF didn't have a very good offense and I was taking Pitt. People said, "USF is a lock because they average 46 ppg."

Stats are overrated. Watching the teams play and knowing the matchups means so much more. What's so impressive about averaging 46 ppg early in the season when you have played Ball State, FAMU, and UTEP???? We all saw how good UTEP's defense was last night.

Don't let these skewed early season stats persuade you.

As for this game, I'll probably take Utah State + the points. I have no opinion on the total as both teams suck and anything could happen. Turnovers, special teams mistakes, ect.

I do know BYU has been horrible on offense in the games I have watched.
