Anyway...earlier in my thread I talked about running at a ML. And tonight is the night I did just that.

I got Pitt ML +125. This is it, this one's a biggie. I have 2 units on this one----I rarely do this---maybe once/twice an entire year, I made Pitt my 2x selection in the BTP contest---I am on the Panthers.

Now Brock has saddled up to this one as well. Damnit.

Philly---stay steady. Don't chase. I pick one or two spots an entire season where I increase my bet. I just happened to like the Pitt number the moment they were released.

You will hit a run where you have good streaks and bad-----is the ugly gambling bitch we call variance. Things you can't predict will happen---injuries, turnovers, bad coaching decisions. They obviously can change a game.

When you are up, and you want to increase your play----I think that is okay. When you start to hit a bad skid though, just re-examine your selections, be patient. You will win again.

The way I view all this----it is fun as hell to make picks, join these contests---and talk sports. I will be the first to admit, I have read some good analysis on this site over the years, but way too often guys get really bent out of shape because they can't take the bad stuff.
