I was watching the game without sound could somebody tell me why that run by Ballard where he jumped from the 3 while in bounds and landed past the goal line out of bounds was not a touchdown? That along with the first down that Auburn got when it was clear you could see grass between the ball and the first down marker killed us. Although it didn't help that on the last drive we took our sweet time until it was under 30 seconds.Comment -
Both announcers thought it was a TD and were shocked it was not reviewed. Everything else in the game was reviewed. Both also laughed off the Auburn first down as home cooking. Not only was the spot favorable but somehow the ref couldn't comprehend that the ball was not past the marker.Comment -
Well guys, just got back to Starkville from one of the toughest losses I have ever had to swallow. That sucked so bad. We clearly outplayed them by outgaining them by 150 yards, we just killed ourselves with penalties and field position, not to mention the refs. One busted coverage, one busted run, and one fluke pick 6 acquired for 21 of their points and we were still in it til the end.
Oh well, besides that 6 unit loss looks like my other bets are doing very well. Will have updated card in a few.Comment -
Tough luck man. I've never seen anything like we're seeing with Auburn before. It started this year in Starkville with your CB missing that interception and continued on most of the season and some how over to this. They get outplayed and still pull out wins. The ball bounces there way every chance. Perfect example: the fumble in the Bama game last year, 1 out of 100 times that ball bounces out of bounds, yet somehow stayed right along the sideline for them. It's just crazy. The refs definitely didn't help today, even the announcers mentioned this. I can't wait for my Gamecocks to take it to them in Columbia in a few weeks.
