That has yet to be determined if waiting for game day is the best value. People are all over the opening lines that pound the line into where it needs to be by game day. I feel like it's the worst value unless you like taking dogs that everyone is betting against.

I remember last season opening day in College Football almost all the games went under the posted totals.. Teams weren't scoring like they do midway through the season.. Must be all the rust

Enough with the bashing... yes if you are taking a public favorite the earlier you hit the line the better value you will get. The Miss St. game is a prime example. The OP did not get the best value here but he didn't get the worst value either....assuming he didn't buy points to get it down to -29.
