2011 BOWL PLAYS

Mississippi State -6.5 16.5 units to win 15

Will probably add more units with my local in order to keep some cash in my online book for other bowl games.

My biggest play of all of last year was my 30 unit play on Mississippi State -6 vs Michigan in the Gator Bowl and the final score was 52-14 crushing the initial spread. I know this Mississippi State team more than anyone on this board and this spread should be at least -14. The competition that each team has played isn't even close this year. All of State's losses has come to all Top 25 teams and by a margin of victory of only 13. Mississippi State is playing it's best football of the year and Wake is playing its worst coming off a abysmal 41-7 loss at home to none other than Vanderbilt. The best part about this matchup is State's D-Line vs Wake's O-Line. Wake gave up 2.5 sacks a game to ACC opponents. Fletcher Cox and Josh Boyd should apply pressure all game. Also, State's run game should be able to control the game. Vanderbilt exploded for 300 yards on this team. I'm very excited for this game.

No offense, but according to your earlier post this season, you only made about $450 last bowl season. What gives? Below is your quote. There is no need to fudge your record. Just post your plays at an accurate number, make it clear when you buy points and keep an accurate record. Good luck with school.

I would post screen shots of bets during last season but my book only keeps bet history for past 14 days. Only proof I have is going to be this season. Last year, I turned $50 into $1734 during the season and pocketed another $450 during bowl season mostly off of SEC bowls.

I love the Miss. State pick -- but why is Vegas retardedly just leaving that spread up there at -6.5?......we all know that 6.5 point spreads are just basically begging us to take Miss. State and I'd say the underdog covers more often than not....Sportsbook.com shows that 92% of bets are on Miss State minus the points.....although it says about 80% of the moneyline bets are on Wake...

I really have no clue to what insight Vegas has on setting it so low. I would love to talk to someone and ask their reasoning. I guess they just base it on stats on other things, without taking account the "eye test." If anyone has watched both teams play at the end of the year, I don't know how you would think that we are only 7 points better than Wake Forest. Blows my mind really.

If you don't have the option in buying it down to 4, I would still take it based on my capping. I see this game as a 23-17..28-17 game with FIU taking home the trophy. BOL.

I'm also leaning the UNDER on this game.
