As for my short summary.

1. Auburn's offense if far superior than last year while Alabama's defense might have remained the same. On paper they are better, but can't think with the loss of Rolando and T.Cody that they are as good. So, Auburn rushes for 150+ last year and almost beats Bama with Chris Todd...that's right...Chris Todd.

2. Not one team has held Auburn to less than 175 yards. Auburn has rushed for over 300 yards ALL 6 GAMES.

Common opponents (UA's 2 losses):

South Carolina: UA had 36 yards rushing, Auburn had 334
LSU: UA had 102 yards rushing, Auburn had 440

3. I have a lot of Bama fans and all they talk about is their unpenetrable defense. Bama has a good defense. Let's realize that South Carolina dropped 35 and LSU dropped 24 on this heralded defense. I admit, Auburn's defense is not close to being as good but Alabama's is not invincible. Furthermore, Auburn has faced some very good defenses successfully this year. LSU...one knee away from 31 points...Clemson...27 points (well before Cam broke on the scene).

I do have butterflies but remain confident as I have taken this season one game at a time.

Prediction:

Auburn: 34
Alabama: 30

I was looking forward to possibly betting Bama in this game then took a look at the line. Was VERY surprised about how favored Bama was, given I thought Auburn might have been -1 or the game EV.

Now I'm leaning on Auburn just because the line is suspiciously bad. Fadin' seems classic here, in the rivalry game. Let's see...
