7 in a high-scoring game like this one is akin to 3 in a typical game.

In other words, if you're going to take the 7, you better be pretty confident USC wins outright -- which I'm not. Otherwise, you might spend 98% of the game looking great, only to have Oregon dump a pair of late TD's on USC's invisible defense for a DD win.

Oregon has racked up a lot of points against lousy teams. Oregon has beat only one team that is comparable to them in talent.

Trust me I'm not going to trow it in your faces after USC covers, b/c I know you guys have money on the game.

SC's passing d is horrendous and Oregon ran all over them last year. Oregon's d on the other hand didn't give up a single point in the 2nd half vs a talented stanford offense.

so it's much more so that they don't have the defense to outscore oregon.
