I agree with the pick Machine, your logic is always solid. I like to look at teams rushing numbers in college. Team Nike is getting 6.5 YPC while UCLA is allowing 4.5 YPC, which in lamens terms is not good news for the powder blue. Wax on Oregon.

UCLA has a great rushing game... At home. On the road they are averaging 161 yards, good but not great. Oregon is averaging 428 yards rushing at home.

Why are you chasing big time on any game? Take a look at Saturdays card.... TONS of games. Get it back slowly! No need to potentially double up your losses.

Oregon is going to stack the box force Ucla to throw, and that should result in 2 Int's. And Ucla is giving up 234 yards on the ground on the road while Oregon is averaging 428 yards on the ground at home. I see alot of 3 an outs for F-UCLA, and that defense getting shredded on the ground for some big yards. Oregon might cover the number by halftime.

I say be careful with the over, however; UCLA will not help much with that.

People talking about UCLA's running game on here. They run the pistol. But to run the pistol really effectively, you need an experienced, fast, healthy, confident quarterback, and you need at least a little bit of a passing threat. UCLA has QB issues. And, regardless who plays, UCLA has a very limited passing game (118th in the nation, I do believe). Oregon is pretty much going to know exactly what UCLA is doing. I expect UCLA's punter to get some work. On the other side, UCLA will not stop Oregon. We know that. I think Oregon will score in the 40's, and I'm not counting on UCLA to get more than 10 to 14.

Finally, I love the situation for Oregon. At Autzen. In front of a national audience for the first time since getting the #1 ranking. They will be as motivated as a team can be to play such lesser competition. They know what happened the last two weeks, and they are not going to fall for that. No way. Big Oregon win.

I think anything better than -28 is a strong play in this game.

Oregon's biggest weakness is their ability to stop the run. UCLA has a back-up QB in and are a run oriented team and they just let UCLA run all the way down the field on them. Oregon's D-Line needs a major upgrade if they plan on making it to the BCS Championship game.
