Vegas wants action on troy. Opened up MTENN as a fav. Public was on MTENN early. Then they moved the line to -3,5. Public is now on Troy being happy to get more than a FG.

38% on MTENN right now. If the line does not go back MTENN is definitely the play

Over 62 or Over 31(1H) are the only plays worth considering in this game. Troy can't stop anyone but can put up good numbers and Middle has a solid offense as well. Plus they get back preseason sunbelt conf player of the year quarterback dwight dasher. I think total will be around 40 by halftime.

As public was on M. Tenn early to make line move up which means public and sharps on M. Tenn. Now public on Troy by 8% more than they were on M. Tenn and line hasn't gone down. That means books want people on Troy. I am on M. Tenn St.

Troy scored 34.0 PPG. But against teams with weaker defense: OKC St. allowing 29.5 PPG, UAB allowing 31.2 PPG and ARKST allowing 34.4 PPG

Troy allowed 4 TDs against Arkansas State. If they can do tell me a reason MTENN can't.

The keyfactor will be if MTENNs defense can hold against Troy as they didn't have to much offensive energy to play against until today.

Troy can hold MT, but I think they will outscore them. They have a more
proven offensive squad. The only reason I didn't take the points is
it's going to be a high scoring game, 3 points may not matter and
the extra 60% payout for them to win is worth going Troy ML.

you guys are crazy... middle tenn's starting qb was suspended for the first 4 games. This is his first game playing today. Middle tenn by 21

besides of him being back or not. MTENNs defense is the key today. But as I said earlier I will be on MTENN...

isn't this the fourth game MT plays? regardless, seems like Troy should score over 31 so if you think MT could hang with them at home, OVER should be the safer bet.

I don't see Troy score Over 30. If so the linesmaker qould have set the total over 31 and not at 29,5.

MTSU seems to have a good D based on stats at least. Don't know anything about either of these teams, but after looking at it, I'm gonna go with MTSU. Both have good offenses but MTSU is at home with a better D and a good punter and kicker so I'll roll with it. If they can keep Troy's big play maker under control especially in the return game, they should be able to stop them enough to win it.

I'm fading the public on this one and taking the Under. Bought the half point for U 63 but with the way the public has been betting it looks like this line might jump up another .5 or 1 point before kickoff. GL!!

My bad. MT has played 4 games already. Yes, MT defense seems to be better than Troy but neither D is considered even average. Troy on the road has shown that it can put up points but also give up a lot. I really don't see MT could slow down Troy too much but it can only try to keep up with them to win the game. At 63 now but seems like it would be climbing for 0.5 or even 1 more point before game starts.

Last 2 times troy played middle ten state, troy's running game was very effective. Last year, troy rushed for 249 yards on 46 carries averaging over 5 yards per carry. And they won the game easily 31-7. In 2008, troy played at middle tenn st and won the game 31-17. In that game, troy rushed for 164 yards on 36 carries for an average of 4.6 yards. Troy RB D Harris rushed for 148 yards on 19 carries for 7.8 avg. and 2 touchdowns. Harris is still on the team as a senior. Harris is going to have a big game tonite. Middle tenn st has been unable to have any success at the running game against troy in the last 2 games. In 2008 game, mid tenn st rushed for 84 yards on 50 carries for an avg of 1.7. In the 2009 game, mid tenn st rushed for only 109 yards on 28 carries. Seems like troy has kept mid tenn st running game in check the last 2 times.

projection: If troy can establish running game early, troy should be able to take an early lead in this game. Here are my plays for tonite. I am 14-3 on first half plays over last 2 weeks.

Troy +1.5 (-105) 1st half
Troy +1/2 (-120) 1st quarter

All we would need is for troy to score a td in the first quarter. In the last 2 meetings, troy has lead 7-3 (2008 game) and 7-0 (2009 game). Troy lead the 2008 game at halftime by a score of 17-3. Troy lead the 2009 game at halftime by a score of 14-0. Troy also held Dasher in check in the 2009 game. Dasher averaged less than 3 yards per carry (18 carries for 54 yards). Troy will establish the running game early in the game so that defense can always be rested.

I have live odds updates access and 60% of public on Troy and line has gone back down to 3 in most places after being up to 3.5 when public was on M Tenn St. Still puts M Tenn St in drivers seat. To tell you the truth this game is a toss up. I went M Tenn-3 yesterday when line was rising and M Tenn was favorite.

Past betting trends on this game and at MTS are in favor of the Under. The public betting on the Over is the icing on the cake.
