Increidibly, another loss last week. What does not happen in 2 years happens twice in 7 days. Last week 15-1, with Arkansas losing in OT. Still, the ML in that game was just -6500 at Greek, so the total for season is 34-2, with -86 units. Still have some chance to end the season with black numbers.

He lost another game in 2012. This is what happens when amateurs try to use a pro's method when they do not understand it. He uses games that were not even lined, and uses various books to try and get teh best line. No wonder this guy does jnot post in here any more. You can be successful doing this, but you MUST be very selective and follow the rules. Here are just a few rules:

1. Never wager more than one game a week.
2. Aviod Conference games at al costs.
3. This one will surprise you. ALWAYS wager on a visiting team. When you are talking about upsets of this caliber (21 point dogs or bigger), it is the home team that usually loses. Last year Penn State upset Wisconsin in Madison as a 25 point dog. No visiting team that was favored by 21 or more lost last season.

Guy, looks like you fell for the joke. This thread started as a satire on Broke Landers "rubberband plays". I gave away many hints it was a joke, like saying "18-1 still looks good on the sig". But when someone said he was going to tail the picks, I had to stop the joke and say him it is way -EV (see post 65). Still, many people did not get the joke, like you.

I have not stopped posting. I have posted maybe 10 picks or so on my life, outside of this thread. And I only post when I have something worthy to write, so maybe twice a month. I have a few posts I really like, as one on spread vs ML, and the one about parlays.

Landers was close, but obviously still not knowledgeable enough to know the system. Do this just for the hell of it this season. Make one wager a week. Make it on a visiting team that is giving a lot of points if possible. For example. Week 1. Play on UCLA against Virginia. On 9/20, play on Oregon against Washington State. On 10/11, play on Alabama over Arkansas. These are just examples. If you are going to play a home team, look for one seeking revenge for a loss last season, such as Oregon at home against Arizona. Make your one play a week, and see how you do. You may be surprised at how easy it is to pick one winner a week. Limit it to one pick and have some fun with this.
