Betting on heavy favorites is not +EV, but makes the "long run" last longer. It also brings a false sense of security. The human mind is prone to discard the small possibilities and make them zero... but believe me, they are not zero. Sooner or later one huge dog will win a game, and your bankroll will be crushed. Parlaying big faves is exactly the same as betting in one game, and if it wins, bet all the money in the next game. So, doing it just because both are big faves does not make much sense. And finally, taking a loan to bet is usually a very bad idea. Please do not do it.
