You are going with the "its due" mentality with picks that offer no rationale?
If they provided insight (team is vulnerable to the run, star DT is injured, too windy to throw a lot, better strength of schedule, etc) then maybe.

Possibly there is something slight missing in this formula? I've been following these pics and your top 5 pics have gone 9-11 over the first 4 weeks. The bottom 5 pics have gone 15-5. After 4 weeks it's a trend and clear that the bottom 5 picks have been stronger plays. Is there any piece of your system when ranking strength of picks that can be adjusted?

this is known as a galbler's fallacy, please do not rely on this if you don't want to get burned.

think of it like this. you are flipping a coin - you keep getting heads for the last 20 times, does this mean that you are more likely to flip a tails on the next go around? no. you have 50% change of either or

MIT uses stats from previous weeks with giving certain statistics more relative weight than the others.

this is true, from what I can interpret into english what my bud tells me is that it uses like 30 years of archived data, current year statistics in various categories, injuries and projected weather and a bunch of other shit. I know the line changes and I'm sure some of the picks change later in the week and on gameday because of the whole "real time" thing but I cant get ahold of him in the latter part of the week.
