Very old news... that's why the line is only 12.5 -> 13.

Under is the play. Nevada without their 2 star rbs will change the offense for nevada. Colin is a good passer because of the run game, without them who knows? Just hope smu doesn't put up too many points. But I also got smu +14.5 early. But don't like them as 12.5 dogs.

Thanks. Actually, I like my play on Nevada more because of the suspensions/injuries. The QB is the one who makes the Wolfpack machine go... the RB's can be plugged in... it's the system they have that's important.

^^^I agree Night Tripper. Other guys are biting at the bit to step up and this is their chance. The only thing scares me about Nevada is their secondary is absolutely horrible. This will be a shootout but I'm hoping SMU turns the ball over a bunch.

Yeah, their secondary is terrible and they're going to be without their starting safety (Williams), because he's been suspended.

this game is killing me. at first glance, i wanted to unload on nevada (even with the 2 rbs out). i just know nevada will win this, even looking at the line movement makes me feel that nevada will win and cover. i just know it. but my fukking system tells me to take smu! and im a disciplined system bettor so im gonna have to fukking play smu! fukkin sucks.

here's how i see it though.

SMU:

-Won't have to deal with two crucial RBs
-Coach Jones is coming home and will have numerous fans there
-He knows the Nevada strategy
-SMU is pumped for this game and will try to win the entire game

Nevada:

-Has to deal with SMU..
SMU fukking sucks! If the Lions have a good year next season and go to the Super Bowl, would you bet on them? Same deal here.

i believe all bowl games have went to the dogs (midd st, wyoming, utah, and byu,) with the exception of rutgers, i am 3-2 on the bowls, i have played Nevada -12.5, but now really having doubts, i believe smu will cover, my advice take the points, the total seems high, i may take the under to try to balance my loss, hind sight twenty twenty, so to do over take smu +12.5

One of the things we've seen with the bowls that have been played so far are teams that really don't care about playing in their respective games (Oregon State, Cal), so maybe a question to ask is, Will Nevada be sufficiently motivated with no fan support there? I read a newspaper article yesterday that quoted someone from Nevada, who said the school sold about 100 tickets to the game.

I don't know how good the Nevada coach is at getting his team ready to go.

SMU ML.....the tempo of this game will be much slower than people think...Nevada is explosive, but 1 dimensional....when they face a capable team that has time to prepare for that dimension........upset
