Just so you know, you can look at anyone's spreadsheet and find these from time to time. I have had to delete picks from mine because sometimes when you enter them they don't appear. So you re-enter them and later find that the game was logged twice. At least, that's been my experience with it. I just keep a running thread all year. If you checked my thread against my spreadsheet, it would be exact. Doesn't mean he cheated just because he deleted picks from his spreadsheet. Actually, the thread is a much better way of tracking someone's progress especially since you can't delete them...

UTAH +19.5 @ TCU
TCU has been playing lights out football. No question about it. They remind me of the 2004 Utah team that went 13-0 behind then soon-to-be-NFL-bust Alex Smith. They kick everyone's butt and nobody pays attention. Well, they haven't come across a team as talented as Utah just yet. Both teams have similar numbers and in the Top 3 in the Conference in just about every category. The key to this game will be how Utah handles the TCU running game. Air Force had the ball for about 2/3 of the game vs Utah, and TCU will have a more potent attack and may be able to dominate the time of possession again. But the number that is most important to me is that both teams have given up 21+ points only one time. Defense ruled last year's game and if it rules again this year, no way is TCU going to be able to cover this spread. Former Urban Meyer has offered his services to Coach Whittingham on how to eye-gouge or have the refs cheat for you, both of which declined by the classy Whittingham. This is the best game of the week. You can watch your generic SEC games on ESPN/ESPN2, your obligatory Notre Dame game on ABC, but God forbid a station everyone gets would carry the non-BCS game of the year. Admittedly, I haven't had much time to research picks this week, and seem to be paying the price (at least Thursday). Luckily once I realized that the Rutgers flu thing wasn't an issue I got in a game time ML on Rutgers to cover my ass. With that said, I have a couple more selections (if anybody gives a shit) but may not have time for write-ups. Due to work, I won't even be able to watch any games this weekend, so I'm basically betting on games that I'll never see.

Apparently the Great Mark Lawrence has Baylor as some 95% awesome angle. You know, one of those 8-pronged convoluted angles that only nerds like him have time to figure. Well guess what, Mark? Lots of value here as an underachieving Jayhawks team are playing an inconsistent 'Husker team. This is Todd Riesing's final start in Lawrence, which should be extra motivation for him to have a stellar day. I don't think Nebr. has had back-to-back strong outings all year, and last week's 'upset' produced absolutely no offense, and their defense didn't farewell vs. an equally explosive Tx Tech team earlier this year. Cal has pretty much been a one-man with Jahvid Best this year. But, when you're a one-man team and you lose that one man to injury; well, you can do the math. Arizona is quietly on pace to make the Rose Bowl, and their defense has bounced back from a poor performance vs. Stanford by allowing only 1 TD the past two games. Without Best, there's no reason to think a confident Wildcat defense won't be able to shut down a weak Cal offensive attack. Because he's so used to winning, I get the feeling that Pete Carroll is the sore loser type and has probablt been pouting since the loss to Oregon. Meanwhile, Stanford's HC Harbaugh seems like the middle-school bully type and when he's not pushing around the nerds on the Stanford campus, he's probably spent the week sending Carroll threatening texts. On the field, if Toby Gerhardt can exploit a less-than-stellar USC rush defense the way Oregon did, they may be able to win outright. The spread has moved 4 points since I bet on it. Something shady going on. I was positive it would end up at 3.5 or 4 in favor of K-State. Obviously I was wrong, but I am very confident that K-St. wins easily. As I mentioned earlier, I follow Mizzou closely, and can assure you Gary Pinkel is the worst HC in the Big 12, whereas Bill Snyder has always had Mizzou's number. yeah, unfortunately the games I'm on never seem to get added value like that at the end of the week. I think K-State will take it, but I'm trying to cut down on my # of plays, and only go with 3 that I feel really really strong about. I went a little overboard last week and I got burnt. I would've been alright if Houston had covered, but that game kept me in the red for the day. I think there's good value out there, but I'm just going to stick with what I know bestComment -

I appreciate the fact that you're reading my thread. But if you had any semblance of information retention (which most middle schoolers like yourself don't) you'd recognize all your flaws. The Unknown Capper doesn't not have 'contacts.' The info I heard about the flu was in a local news article. I alluded in a later thread that if it weren't for the flu thing, I'd lean towards Rutgers, and once it became apparent that the flu wasn't an issue, i balanced out my bet with a Rutgers -130.
