Scott Frost just doesn't have it. They go up 11 and take control of the game and he tries an onside kick which fails and totally gives momentum back to Northwestern. They have no heart to win even though they have more talent then NW and alot of these other teams

Yes it is. UTEP had 175 yards 1Q, but got stopped at the 1-2 yard line. 45k fans....they needed a fast start. NM State was covering down 20-12 but Nevada got a late field goal. Oh well. Basically didn't cap these games that hard because I was going with homefield and number of returning starters. Its a proven advantage, but shit does happen. Back to work

New coach is from Texas Tech and brought in solid QBs with returning receivers. Defense is also attacking so look for big plays all game both ways.

I predict something like Missouri 40 La Tech 31. CFN has Missouri 37-27

The Tigers are on their third defensive coordinator in three seasons, and the Bulldogs bring in new head coach Sonny Cumbie , who joins from Texas Tech after finishing last season as interim head coach and leading the Red Raiders to a bowl game victory over Mississippi State.
He was able to pluck Matthew Downing in the transfer portal from TCU and brings back three of their top four pass catchers from last season in addition to an LSU transfer Devonta Lee at tight end. Cumbie is going to look to run an air raid offense and play with tempo, which should lead to more possessions and potentially more scores.
I think this total may be underselling the pace of this game and how the Bulldogs can put together a few points. Missouri has the skill to put up points on a dire Bulldogs defense that allowed 30-plus points in all four non-conference games last season (at Mississippi State, FCS Southeast Louisiana, SMU and at NC State). However, don't count out the new look Louisiana Tech offense under Cumbie that can hang against a Missouri defense that gave up 20 or more points in every game last season.
