Why would you take the point? Why not just bet them ML? I created an entire thread about this....

The statistical probability that the game will end up with Purdue winning by 1 is so ridiculously small, there is absolutely no value in taking the 1.

Here is 5 year data to support what I just told you.

Hey Quant,

Definitely need to take a look at your post and I actually agree with your premise. If I am being honest, I capped the games as normal but rushed things a bit when I placed my wager, without really analyzing the difference in the spread and moneyline.

ML is currently sitting at -102 while the spread is at -110.

I have the game ending in a close score, maybe 3-5 points between the teams. Because of that, I am okay taking the point, although I wished I got them at 3 ealier.

Bottomline: I see your point. Had I not already put money ATS, I might've played the ML. Since I did already, I am going to stick to my guns

Wow!!! Got juiced out here lol. I was gonna throw 3 units in game on TCU at half seeing the momentum shift. Wished I did. 1-1 on the night and -.2 of juice.
