This "system" sounds dubious at best. OP probably just made this up this morning... never even tried it.

I'd be more apt to apply this strategy using Overs instead of Unders. Bowl games are notoriously high scoring.

Guys who post the amount they play are lying 99% of the time about the actual amount if the amount is over $100.00. NO one in their right mind posts large plays so they can be targeted if they win. No. You bet 1 unit on under first half. 2 units at halftime if it loses. No doubling up after that. Never risk more than 3 units per game.

Its actually kind of interesting. You're betting for a slow start and if the points do add up and it goes over then you're hoping they set the 2nd half total a little too high and the teams slow down. The public primarily plays Overs anyway
