Sorry, I usually check out quick f or a bit once I make my picks so I didn't see your question. I think I looked at the stats in that one, but didn't necessarily like either way because it had some short field TDs in the 1st half. When I look for Overs, I'm usually looking for teams that have not been stopped on numerous drives and a big plus if both teams are playing at a high tempo. Usually plays ran in the 40s + points scored in the 1st half are going to be a formula for me looking to an Over.
I started coming up with a number in my mind before they are posted that I am comfortable with taking and usually base my final decision on how far off that number is from the posted number. I had not done that in the past, usually I'd just go hey they're scoring points, so who cares if it's a 40 pt O/U - they're going to score. Trying to be more selective. Same formula in reverse for Unders. Looking for good defensive stops, teams who have had trouble moving the ball and if there is a low number of plays ran - all the better.Comment
