2014 NCAAF Season Long Thread

I knew some stupid shit was going to happen in the final 30 seconds that would make me have a heart attack.

I shouldn't have even had to sweat that game. UTSA thouroughly outplayed them.

They get stuffed on third and 1 at midfield right before the half and let Zona take in and score.

Then they miss a 20 yard FG.

Then the dumbass QB shovels it right to Arizona on the last drive.

Classic ending, I thought I lost. I would have been upset if I had the money line. They go from looking TD all the way to chip shot to nothing. I so wanted Arizona to go for it on 4th and 1 to just end the thing. What a crazy play at the end.

Is it weird that I was waiting for it to happen?

As soon as I saw UTSA throw the ball at the end, I new it would end up in the end zone some how. I was just praying it was a forward pass and the refs would get it right.

I wasn't certain of the rule. I was sitting there shaking my head thinking the ref was going to say, "Illegal forward pass on UTSA for a five yard penalty. Penalty declined, touchdown Arizona." I don't understand why he just didn't let the clock run out and take the five yard penalty and punt. It was just brutal missing that FG otherwise this was a laugher even if it goes to OT I had the hook protection.

Being that I got screwed on the OSU/NW game last year, my heart just sank while watching the last play... OH NO. NOT AGAIN I thought. It's gotten to the point now that I almost expect this kind of stuff to happen, especially in college where kids do desperate stupid things at the end of games. So my question is, was the play ruled properly? Since the forward pass was illegal, was the play dead right then and there?

I think my favorite plays are Toledo and Auburn. Are you going to roll with a spread over 3 TD's in Auburn? I somewhat like Mich St. also, but whenever I bet against Oregon it seems like I always get hosed.
