How come I'm not hearing anything about Rice vs Texas A&M?

I thought Rice was very respectable last year. They return a good bit of players on both sides of the ball. Texas A&M has had the huge Manziel distraction. This could make them get closer as a team and blow Rice out the stadium but they lose a lot on offense and defense. They recruited well but a lot of new guys in the lineup.

I have to think A&M's offense is very systematic (Sumlin) so they will still put up Playstation type numbers but Rice can put up points too. If this game is close at half, Johnny Football is going to have the weight of the world on his shoulders.

I think it's worth a flyer to take Rice +29 and throw a bit on the ML. Perfect storm, A&M can lose this game.

None of my books have a 1st quarter or 1st half line up yet. TAM was money in the first half like you mentioned but gave up leads in the 2nd half of a bunch of games, especially 2 years ago. With Manziel coming in at half, I'm not sure fading them 2nd half is a smart thing.

A&m will pound the rock the first half they have top 5 o line again this year and 4 very capable rb that could play anywhere ....we all know that manziel will be 2nd half only but with an FCS school next week and bama the week after I see the first team guys getting the majority of the reps with johnny in the 2nd half...easiest play will be A&m 2nd line
