MTSU has to run the ball to have any kind of success offensively against the cougs, as Logan Kilgore and the passing game has been anemic so far this year. The problem is BYU boasts one of the best run defenses in the country, and should be able to dominate the line of scrimmage. Throw in the possibility of rain tonight in Provo and this should stay well under the total barring any bonehead turnovers gifting MTSU points. I also lean to BYU and the points, but I just can't lay 24 with that offense.Comment -

I can't for the life of me figure out the line movement in the SMU/Rutgers game. I understand the injuries Rutgers has, and I understand the main concern is the inexperienced secondary against the pass happy Mustangs, but if you've watched Garret Gilbert play for 5 minutes this year, you know he's the last person on the fukkin planet to be afraid of. The Paul James injury should be a minimal factor as well. Kid is a good back no doubt but he wasn't even on the 2 deep for Spring ball, and his backup Huggins was a stud 5 star recruit out of high school and the starter for the opener. Look ahead spot with Lville on deck? Maybe, but coming off a bye for the conference opener should be plenty of motivation, not to mention this Rutgers team has a good amount of players from Texas. Grab the 4's that are still out there while you can.
The Ohio bet was a bad one I'll admit that. It was a kneejerk pick on my part and after capping it more in depth I'm not crazy about it. I probably would've got out of it but the line dropped like a ton of bricks before I could do anything about it. With that said it's still the fukking Zips so it could easily cash.

Really fukked up that New Mexico call, knew I was fukked when it went to 14. I overrated Wyoming, and was really impressed with the Lobos against them. Didn't think Utah States Frosh QB would be able to shred their D like that either. LSU should have rolled too but Mettenberger found his inner 2012 self and completely blew that game.
