i like the thought of parlaying money lines (using them in teasers would be even better) but im on 5dimes and i rarely ever see a money line on the parlay/teaser options

I have 5dimes bro and they always have the ML parlays. I think they only release them the day or 2 before but they always end up being there.

Yes 5dimes has money lines if you're betting a parlay or straight bet. But once you click on teaser there usually is no moneyline option.

That bet above lost, losing $500 = $4495.71. Then you won a bet $926.49 for Thanksgiving, bringing the total to $5422.20. Then you lost $400, $600 and another $400 from this Saturday. Which is now $4022.20. Then you won on Sunday earning $456 back. Total is $4478.20. I don't know why you can't keep track of your winnings, but this happens a lot. I am sorry, I think your system is okay. Not as good as you make it out to be. Not sure why you need to constantly over inflate your record and winnings. I think you lose a lot of creditability with the record keeping. Regardless, I wish you luck!

I agree that record keeping is very important. I have my own "routine" that really helps. I post in the following format :

DD/MM/YYYY
TEAM_A/TEAM_B X.XX to win X.XX (-Americanodd)
// My other picks with same format, green if I win, red if I lose

Then after the game I copy paste all my result, make a total for the day, month and season, use color to help readability. I even started yesterday to add this in a table to make it even more clear. http://forum.sbrforum.com/hockey-bet...-o-u-pick.html

But if vegas post for himself it's a different story. He doesn't owe it to anyone. However, if he's trying to prove his system then he should try to improve this point. Other then that it's a great thread.

That's exactly what I said, you don't owe it to anybody. However if you're trying to prove the success of your system it's a different story because people won't take it seriously if they can't trust the numbers. I would definitely prefer that you post numbers after each day cuz I'm a stats whore. But that's just me lol.

I have followed him for some time now and I can attest to him being honest AND a winning handicapper.

I do not blindly follow his plays, that would be irresponsible, and I keep records of my picks as well as where I may have gotten info for that pick.

Well I hope you don't include me in this. The only thing I did was a decent, polite suggestion to improve his record keeping. If I was rude in anyway I deeply apologize that wasn't my intention. I do tail his pick, and I really like it because it's an "out of the box" system.

But really, after reading my posts a second time I don't see where i was rude in any way. Is suggesting something really that mean?

Okay went back and did math and JJ is right what I did was counted 926 win twice my apologies but keep in mind JJ I don't think you ever do your own handicapping because I am up till 3-4 in the morning doing this stuff all with a job and family. This is not my job its my hobby and fortunately im good at it. If you did your own handicapping you would understand the time and effort involved in this. From now on I will try to do what Donger suggested and post dates etc but for me to stay accurate with amounts my apologies

Just saying, I "blindly" follow him and I ain't a sheep. Actually I bet every day around 40 units across 4-5 sports. Most of them I have no idea about the teams. All I do is research the cappers and up to now it has been very successful. I only cap for like 5% of my bets. I ain't a sheep. I just have my ego at the right place.

On a side note, should I tail someone I keep an eye out on lines and win percentage rather, as I am super conservative with my unit sizes. Comfortable betting between 0.5 and 1.5% of bank, never adding variance by altering my unit sizes.

Keeps emotion outta it and then this little lady can watch some degens crying over occasional losses well like, little ladies.

Just food for thought.
