Point me to the line where I said the Hokies are a lock. I don't think they are. But I think the chances of their covering are better than not, based on what I've seen of FSU when they are away from their home field. If I lose this bet, I will not be in "hibernation." Now, I don't have to look back very far ( last week) to view Hokies Thur nite performance.

For a big dude at 6'6" his passes are soft. Seminole Defense will be ready for his scrambling and won't allow him to break the big one and pad his stats.
I won't even get into the superior Nole Defense. Manuel head and shoulders above Thomas.

As my join date indicates I'm a noob to these forums. So I don't know your past post history nor do I care to be honest. IMO, any one who takes the time to do a proper write up get a thumbs up in my book because it not only brings some good stats to light but it also create discussion which is good when people aren't spending more time bashing each other than actually discussing the pro's and con's of taking team X for game Y. That being said I hope you keep doing your write ups but I would just advise you (and everyone for that matter) to refrain from calling people "idiots" for not back a particular team you feel is the right choice. pts/play 0.373-0.458
RZ% 92.86-100
3rd down % 27.5-38.1
opp yds/pt 15.8-23.9

looking at these numbers, and throw in HF advantage, the value is with Vtech. especially when the public is pounding FSU and the line is dropping. i have fsu -12.5 at my book. i dont understand the bashing on others that post their opinions. everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
edit: if you look at these key numbers, you see that the only advantage FSU has is on opponent 3rd down conversion %. throw in the fact that FSU's strength of schedule is 108 vs. tech's 46 based on sagarins you can see that FSU had a walk in the park the early part of the season.
