Only MLB play today is Dodgers ML -250 -- A little juicy, but I like the chances of it hitting. Worth parlaying.Comment -

#12Do you seriously make profit betting on MLB? I am Australian and have only watched a few games from start to finish, one of which was an Angels game live last year, so I have no chance in hell winning on that sport. I thought the only real way to win long term with MLB is with mathematical systems or by picking very few spots here and there. You are a math idiot and an action junkie so why do you even bother with it?Comment -

i've been picking above 70% for several seasons now-- i don't have plays every day... right now i am taking some time off betting MLB, but if i were to bet for tomorrow, my plays would be royals and nationalsComment -

Worth parlaying.i had giants -2.5 (bought points) in a parlay... didn't really like the giants so i didn't give them as a play... but the bet put me in the neg for the week.gabe did you just admit to losing a bet you didnt post? I guess this will shut the haters up.

I've got Serena Williams maxed out to win the Womens US Open on a couple books at +100 and -120. (before it started... is at -450 now)Comment -

#20in general, do you think its better to bet on "player X wins tournament" rather than bet on player X to win each individual game/match (adding the profits from the previous match to the subsequent stake)?
i'm sure it depends on the particular case, but im just wondering if any of you guys with experience have noticed a trend, one way or the other?
rencently there was a line for joey benz wins the FW GP at -180. but in this case, if you wagered on the individual matches you would get a line of -179 (-675 vs urishitani; -280 vs might mouse), so there isnt much difference. although, that is assuming you got the best possible line for both matches.Comment -

but regarding serena; arent there like 7 rounds in the us open? lets assume she is -1000 each round, you end up with -105. so the +100 doesnt seem as great as you would think.
also, when you bet that player X will win the tourny, you risk losing the bet if player X gets injured and withdraws in between rounds (or some other unforseen withdrawal, e.g., horsereem getting pulled from the HW GP).Comment -

#23the -675 was the opening line. i'm sure you are right that it got worse (too laze to check right now).
