It's all good dude. I know BJ is dangerous and he is a legend, however in my mind he belongs at 155lbs. We simply disagree on this fight, as I think Rory will walk through BJ, especially if this fight goes to the second or third.

I think Penn fades midway 2nd round and Rory takes over winning a UD. I just don't think it will be a blowout, and this is coming from a big Rory supporter.

Rory is clearly juicing. Probably gets it from the same source as gsp.

As far as the fight goes, if BJ can't make Rory fear his power he is in real trouble. Even if his boxing is better than Rory's, BJ is at a 6.5 inch reach disadvantage which means if he is range to hit rory, he is definitely in range to get taken down. BJ doesn't have the footwork to be able to get inside Rory's reach and back out again without getting countered or taken down.

If Rory can get walk through his punches he will be able to clinch easily and get taken down from there. BJ does not have the gas tank to move around effectively either. If he is somehow able to elude Rory with footwork he will only be able to do it for one round without gassing.

Yeah that is what i basically see with this fight. If BJ wins it is in round one or early round two. I have no clue why he took this fight either. If i was a betting man i wouldn't waste my time betting Penn but i do think he will give Rory some trouble early.

Watch the press conference. Rory felt disrespected because BJ didn't show up. He said a few things i doubt BJ will take to kindly too. This kid can hurt ya. A guy like Fitch you know what you are gonna get. How many people does Fitch hurt? He wrestles ya to death and maybe gets a little ground and pound in. BJ is good on the ground, but when was the last time you have seen him use his grappling and BJJ..? BJ will be dwarfed by Rory in physical size, and that in itself will be a problem for Penn once this fight hits the mat. Rory has some of the best top control in MMA. On top of that, Rory is great on the ground if you haven't noticed, the dude is a wizard. He will also be the much stronger, and larger fighter by far. I think he will throw Penn around similar to Nate Diaz which will lead to his victory. Like someone else said, I don't even know why BJ would take this fight. He is outmatched here in every aspect imo.

Exactly.. ^^^ My point is that I believe this fight is a complete mismatch. Rory is HUGE for a WW and prob. should be at MW and BJ is small for a WW and should be a LW. Adam, I agree that if I am wrong, I will indeed look like an ass and I will eat my words. However, I rarely make bold statements like the one above, unless I am really confident in my research and analysis. Example, when BJ fought Diaz, I knew or felt very strongly that Diaz would win. Samething in this case, I really just don't see how BJ wins this unless he KOs Rory early in the first. Once this hits the mat, BJ is done. If it goes into the deeper rounds, BJ will gas and it will be over with also. I give BJ a 15% chance at winning this fight. Just my opinion.
