Events like bellator and strikeforce are a little tougher to set lines on. I have lots of feels for this card but we def. need to hold of the discussion.

So I saw in the other BFC 63 thread that a few people are liking Amoussou... WHY???

As I wrote in the other thread, Lozano stuck out to me as the best play on the card with regard to odds and value (would have loved to get him at the -130 opener), he's now -175 on my book. He is a beast and HUGE for the division, and seems to be very well rounded and he hits damn hard. He's fought better comp and his losse are against legit dudes - the same cannot be said about Aoussou imo.

What is your guys' breakdown on this fight? Why do some of you favor Amoussou / where do you see him being better than Lozano? Why might some of you favor Lozano???

I have done limited research on this fight as I am limited on time this week.

Any feedback or insight would be VERY appreciated...

As I mentioned in other thread, this is a no play at the current odds. Amoussou has brutal standup. Good knees, leg kicks. Lozano has sharper boxing, but his striking is more limited. However, i think Lozano has a better chance of catching Amoussou in an exchange because of those heavy hands., especially earlier on in the fight . Lozano has pretty good wrestlig but Amoussou is very strong in the clinch and tends to grapple into dominant postitions because of his brutal strength in that department. He struggles against grapplers with a more technical BJJ background, something Lozano does not have. I would take a stab at Amoussou in the +160 range, but i think Rickels is a better dog play. I alos got Myles Jury at -170, which has a much better than Lozano at similar odds.
