I've had second thoughts about martinez ever since I made the play (read some interesting things from bernardo backers saying he was on a serious 'off' night against means), and now that I'm reading this it really has me scared.

Plus, people didn't really bring this up but jared's fight with jimmie 'el terror' rivera was damn close, many people thought papazian should have won the title in that for more damage and what not. I think rivera is the best 135er not in the ufc, and I also think beating cullum is a pretty big accomplishment as well. Put that in with the war with easton and I can't see pague giving papazian more trouble than any of these 3, as I think jared's past 3 opponents also beat pague... Also, on the Papa/Pague fight--
I think Papazian could easily beat John Albert, and John Albert easily beat Pague. Pague was a HUGE underdog against Albert, but is barely a dog against Papazian... I really love the line + chances w/ Papazian. I think people not pounding it are going to regret. I hope that's true and I don't end up being the one regretting... but yeah... have had my eye on this fight for a while, really hope I am right.Comment -
I think the opposite as I believe 155 is closer to his optimum weight so think his cardio should be better. At 170 he is podgy, while his cut to 155 is not difficult...he was 163 over a week ago. He is intending to go to 145 in future which probably would drain him to a point where he gasses quicker, but at 155 im hoping its his optimal weight for getting best cardio (although obviously he'd have the size and strength advantage at 145lbs).Originally posted by gabeComment -

I'd agree, but its always hard for me to take quick finishes as a clear sign of a fighters potential / lack of potential...
