He could have been pretending to be hurt or pretending to be gassed and then unleash an attack at full strength when your opponent gets overconfident. It's an effective strategy

lol yea he's a bit dweeby, but I think he's a cool guy and I respect that he's a well educated teacher who walked away from it to fight...

and roberts is no joke on the ground tho man, he's champ in multiple sub grappling circuts (another reason why I hope charlie can hang in silva's guard if he can get him down and grind)
