Only one play today so far....anyone who has followed my plays knows that this about the roof for me in terms of betting favorites but I see too much value in Sandro at -150 not to take it...I really do like Popo as a fighter but in this fight I think Sandro has the edge everywhere outside of Bezerra's crazy athleticism...I'm gonna say Sandro by TKO (Doctor Stoppage)

I'm also very close to making a play on Rodrigo Lima..Nakamura has been fighting in a different world over at Shooto for most of his career..Nakamura is very very hittable and Lima has legit power but I haven't pulled the trigger yet because Lima's level of competition is just atrocious.

I like two plays on tonights Bellator event and will post my UFC picks a bit later..I'm still tossing around a few plays.

My first play will be on Dantas...this kid is the real deal..I love the way he can mix up strikes from distance and his grappling is legit..."Fun Size" has a nice winning streak going but I just think Dantas has fought a better level of competition in his short time in Bellator...I expect Dantas to set up a submission with dropping Makovsky with fast accurate punches. I was really impressed with the resilience Corey showed in his fight with Mann...he was hurt badly in the first one and powered back to not only win the wrestling battle but also most of the striking exchanges from the end of the first round on...I still don't know what to make of Strauss....he keeps winning but I'm just not overly impressed with him...at the price I'm going to take a chance at the Corey..Mike Corey by split decision

I was gonna wait but I saw this line and already capped the fight and I don't think it will improve any.

I absolutely love Paulo Thiago to beat Bahadurzada...this is I think my 3rd biggest bet I've posted here.

Siyar is wild as hell on the feet...like dangerously wild...I've seen Paulo take many of punches he's got a good beard on him so I'm not worried about him getting caught on the feet...I give Bahadurzada the edge on the feet but not by as as some might....he's gonna come in and attempt to throw everything at Thiago..I really like Paulo's chances to take him down off one of these looping hooks..when it hit's the ground it's no contest...I don't see it ending any other way other than Paulo Thiago wins by submission

I was just straight up wrong on this one...I did not give Siyar enough credit in his ability to throw that kind of powerful counter..Siyar not coming out throwing heat def confused Thiago and he got impatient and ran head first into his imminent death...I'll be back stronger next weekend.

It was the wrong bet and these things happen..I've been pretty damn good on my big plays but this one I got wrong..Paulo got impatient and charged a powerful striker head first hands down and paid the ultimate price...I'm sorry you lost my money but I do believe my self to be a +EV MMA bettor not someone who half asses a pick against a UFC newcomer.
