Has anyone dabbled with it?

The main way I could see it be useful is to if you bet on one guy (who's sucking) -- bet against him during the fight. I hear the odds can become insane if one guy is dominating.

Anyone know which sites you can do it?

Have checked in at 5dimes occasionally, you have to be extremely quick on the trigger (refreshing the bet screen in between rounds) when the option is available... just a heads up... you may only have a 30 second window to make the wager.... based on my limited experience.

I've considered it for hedging down.

Yeah -- there's a potential double edge sword. My main concern is getting caught up in the emotionality of the fight. Emotions and good betting do not mix.

late 2nd DSI and Bookmaker still had him +300 at a time when the momentum had clearly shifted. So many people will blow there load when it looks like someone might be going for a finsh, it helps to look for dogs after they have weathered a storm imo as I think the books will hang some value out there trying to rebalance the action.

Live mma is worth it if you have decent self control. Easy to get frustrated and lose your cool. Ive had a couple fights where i was on a fav who looked like shit and added more at "better odds" when realistically, I was betting into a shit line.

The vig is really high, so you have to have patience. Placing live bets on every fight is going to be a tough hill to climb. But you will find gifts. Mark Hunt -400 with 1.5 minutes left in Rothwell fight was a gift imo.

You have to check the odds at the end of the round. If you check at any other time those are the odds you get. You pretty much have 1 minute to bet at 5 dimes and you need to be refreshing your page constantly.

Yes. And you don't have to refresh. The have a running line during the fight, including by KO, DEC, and SUB. I just got into it for UFC 136. Definitely worth it. I got Nam Phan by dec at -200 something after the first round, and also Edgar +300 in the third.
