I'd go with Gilbert Melendez or Josh Barnett. Both would be roughly a top 5 in their divisions.

I'm actually a fan of Kimbo. His striking is above average and his grappling might not be the worst in the UFC. His fights are usually fairly exciting.

I wish they would bring back James Toney too... I think every Heavyweight should have to beat James Toney before they are OFFICIALLY allowed in the UFC.

I also agree with what some other guys said about Melendez and Alvarez. Those guys are top notch. I'd be surprised if they're not in the UFC within the next year or two.

I think I made an unfair conclusion I thought there was two fighters that were from Strikeforce. I doubled checked and it was just Jake Shields that I was talking about.

Jake Shields losing to GSP and Jake Ellenberger.

Also, good fighters that are not in the UFC are Gegard Mousasi and Eddie Alvarez.

Lombard is good, but he is still unproven. He does have an impressive record but thats about where it ends, he hasn't really fought anyone worth mentioning. Would like to see where he ranks among the UFC fighters
