where does maynard go from here?....he did the exact same thing he did in the first fight...he didn`t chage a thing.......if you can move your feet and stuff takedowns, you can beat maynard....

edgar has some hard bark on him......well earned victory......

btw..it`s time for aldo to move up to 155 and fight some legit talent....145 is very thin...and he`s complained about making weight...maybe that`s why his performance was lackluster tonight...

Edgar has to be the most undervalued UFC fighter of all time. Never gets respect on the betting lines, always brings it hard.

I think the lines proved to be appropriate. Lets not forget that he was almost finished.

And to think, the guy should actually be fighting at 145. He could easily make the weight.

indeed... its 'those moments' that are the reason why I watch mma. Such a great feeling. WAR Edgar. I'll admit I was just a casual fan of his before, but wow, truly incredible. True champion.

gil perhaps... really want this fight, imo gil is hands down the #1 contender and stylistically a threat to everyone in the division.

                                    Bendo - no.

rumor is that Aldo might be done with cutting to featherweight, does he get the shot?

I'd be satisfied as a fan, and it would make sense I guess. I still want gil as my first choice for a contender, but aldo would def suffice in my eyes. Think edgar would win though.

Hard for me to see Aldo abandoning his belt to move up and fight Edgar. I don't see anyway that Melendez doesn't get the shot.
