Waiting for the line on that fight. I'll take Hicks if he is + anything.

Hicks will be a slight underdog. Both good fighters.Very tough to call Varner is Well rounded fighter striking/wrestling and decent JJ . Hicks is a little pitbull with heavy hands and super tight chokes and great JJ they dont call him the wrecking ball for nothing.

With WEC they mostly dont post odds till a few days before the fight .I am guessing the odds will be out Thursday or Friday.

I just spoke to someone from 5Dimes. They said that they will have odds for WEC 35 and the Icon Hard Times event, which will be the night before. However, he said that he was not sure when the lines would be up.

Im waiting on the ICON SPORT odds . I wont touch Baroni or Hose because they will be way to much chalk.Intrested to see what Bao Quach vs Mark Oshiro odds will be.

Scott Jorgensen is dog as well. LOL, but you are right the rest of my picks are all favorites. I think we may see at least 3 upsets. Page could easily upset Bowels and I was surprised to see him as such a big dog. Hopefully Hicks can pull the upset as well.

I'm not making any plays until I speak with a friend of mine who is an amazing MMA capper. This guy really knows his stuff and his analysis is great.

Verdadero on the other hand will give Baroni some trouble as he is a really tough guy so he won't be a push over. Moreover, Baroni has been keeping really busy and I'm certain he is not 100%. On the other hand Verdadero has not been in the right with anyone as experienced as Baroni. I will probably pass on this fight because Baroni will be a huge favorite and even though there will be value with Verdadero I just can't pull the trigger on him.

Hose is coming off a lose bye submission and i dont see him losing 2 times in a row in his hometown .

I agree with you Baroni might not be 100% and just fought 1month ago in Cage Rage with a KO win in the First rnd. Phil is fighting at 170lbs now looks very lean at 170lb but he is gassed a lot in his fights over the years at 185lb,So thats telling me he could gas easy at 170lb with that extra weight he has to cut.But i still see Phil winning this one he is now trying to use his wrestling first then his striking second , before all he would do is try to brawl.He is getting a little smarter and he is training with AKA in San Jose CA.


Ron Verdadero has a 3-5 MMA record and his 3 wins where against guys that have a total of 1-6 MMA record. He has no Submissions wins and only one TKO. Thats pretty much telling me he is not a threat to knock out Baroni or submit him. Ron Verdadero will be fight in his home state and will have the crowd behind him and might have better cardio but i dont see that being enough . Baroni TKO rnd 1

If Verdadero gets like +600 to +1000 i might take him for a few dollars it is MMA anything can happen.
