I know there are other threads but let's keep this one to the main event Saturday night.
Of course Jon Jones is getting all the love and it seems like the outcome of this fight is already decided. I just can't figure out how Jackson is being so overlooked. He's only lost 5 fights since 2002 and look at the names he's lost against: Wanderlei Silva x2, Mauricio Rua, Forest Griffin, and Rashad Evans. Also of note, 6 out of 7 of Rampages last fights have gone to decision (2 five rounders) and 8 of the last 11 have gone to decision as well.
My thinking is Rampage knows that he can't beat Jones by being the aggressor. I think he will take the step back and look for the KO counter punch. By stepping back, Jones unorthodox style is more easily defended and he won't land as many kicks. My bets are Jones by decision and Rampage KO -- both small plays as I very well know that Jones has KO/TKO/submission ability. What does everyone else think of this fight?
