so nate diaz is going back down to 155?
he`s still very young, but yo-yoing back and forth between 155 and 170 isn`t an easy thing to do when you`re 6 foot tall.....

not sure that diaz has great takedowns(better than nick`s,probably, but not a dominant part of his game)......

and gomi`s been around the block...he came very close early in his fight with nick diaz to getting a stoppage.....i see it`s only +200.......if this thing moves upward ,like i`m thinking it might,i might take a hard look at gomi...

the concern is that gomi`s cardio might fail him late(like it did vs nick diaz)...

i understand that nate is deservedly the fave, but i`m not sure that this is a done deal... and the hedge opportunity is there with diaz via submission(that may be the best wager overall in the fight...thereby using gomi straight as the hedge)prop......i don`t see any knockout losses on gomi`s resume and nate only has 3 tko`s on this record....

    just some food for thought...

btw...diaz itd is +176 at 5 dimes right now...that`s a little safer...nate has 12 stoppages in 13 wins overall....and gomi`s been subbed in 5 of his 7 losses.....the percentages are in our favor....

already have nate itd...will wait to see if gomi`s odds show any movement...

I like the Nate ITD play. Already in on fight doesn't go the distance at +160 so I'll probably add this as well and possibly SOTN.

Gomi's only chance to win this imo is by (T)KO so if you like him to pull the upset, wait for his (T)KO line which should be around +500. Just remember Nate's chin is steel.

Yeah I'd be more inclined to play fight doesnt go distance hedged with Diaz by decision. Bit annoyed that I didnt take the fight doesnt go distance when it came out at +180 or something. Now at -120

Gomi is massively inconsistent both in his abilities and results. Can't feel comfortable putting anything on him

i think part of the inconsistency(at least in the ufc) can be attributed to unfortunate(for gomi) matchmaking.....

you match most strikers with florian/griffin and guida right out of the box in the ufc,you aren`t doing them any favors.....remember griffin was predominantly a grappler....and his chin was(and has been ) granite since his gomi fight...he fought gomi`s fight and got caught cold and early.....can happen to anybody........

if diaz stands with gomi, theres a chance he`ll have some problems, just like his brother did..he`ll peck away and gomi will be looking to dummy him.......gomi cut nick diaz to ribbons early in their fight...he just couldn`t handle diaz`cardio....and size...the size won`t be as much of a factor here, imo

if it stays standing,it could be very interesting in rounds 1 and 2......if is goes to the mat,i think diaz will g&p or tap gomi...most likey some g&p followed by the tap out....little diaz is a finisher,as his record indicates.........

i think diaz itd is the most likely outcome....but i don`t think a diaz win is a foregone conclusion...
