    happened while sparring rolling out of a position and I heard a pop..thought it was dislocated..a pic is worth a 1000 words.

        I've seen some nasty shit happen on the mat while rolling but this is definitely up there. If there's any sort of pre-existing injury or weakness in the bone or joint, shit like this can go down and it happens quick.

                  Tape to cover cuts and blisters but taping up your fingers and toes ain't going to prevent some shit like that happening. Actually, I just ended up using super glue on my blisters.

                  Tape adds grip and traction, it's the last thing you want, if anything it might increase the possibility of it occuring.

                    Not taping them individually, you tape two of them together. Especially fingers when your grappling with a gi. That way one doesnt get caught , or a toe doesnt get caught in the puzzle piece mats.
