Are you surprised Dana White didn't rip up tonight's fight card because it has too many good fighters on the card?

I'm surprised he didn't decide to find a loophole in the contracts and give us Elvis Sinosic vs Forrest Griffin in the main event.

Because lets be honest here, Rampage vs (can) Hamill, Dos Santos vs (can) Carwin, these events all have one superstar and a guy who has no business being in a main event.

    Facts:

Dos Santos should've had his title shot at least 18 months ago, but since he's not marketable they gave it to Carwin (unbelievably undeserving)

The only reason Jon Jones got his title shot was because of Rashad's injury. If Dana had it his way, the title shot would've been scheduled for some time around 2013.

Nick Diaz had to hold the UFC hostage and threaten to box to get his well-deserved title shot, which is BS. If Dana had it his way, the fight would be also scheduled for 2013.

This is why we never got to see a prime Chuck vs a prime Wanderlei.

If Alistair Overeem wins the tournament, he should get an immediate title shot, but lets be real, that fight won't happen until we all die of old age.

P.S. Enjoy one of the last great fight cards while you still can, cans

True, so I assume (without trying to make an ass out of u and me ) that you think it's beneficial for Zuffa to keep the strikeforce cards juiced up while its on Showtime but at the same time keep the regular PPV events average? I don't see how it benefits Zuffa to have 20 fight cards per year instead of 14 with much better fight cards and much more people buying each of them. I know the rebuttal to that will be "More events = more money!" But if that's the case, why not have 25 events per year? They seem really watered down to me and I think most casual fans only watch 10-20% of PPV events.

You never know, with the purchase of Strikeforce, we could see more events

Im probably the wrong person to ask, I only pay £11 a month for ESPN which gives me all UFC events so more the better for me! Plus from a gambling perspective which I put before being a "fan" of the sport the more events there are the better for me!
